Enjoy this Sunday comic, and please take a moment to write an email asking the Chicago Sun-Times to reinstate La Cucaracha in its comics pages, esp.. if you are in the Chicago or Illinois area. Please write to Editor In Chief Donald Hayner at [email protected] or Features Editor Amanda Barrett at [email protected]. Thank you!

  1. With such a huge Latio population in Chicago, who are mostly of Mexican ancestry, I find it disheartening that the Chicago Sun-Times finds it necessary to drop La Cucaracha from its pages. Lala Alcaraz keeps us ALL on the cutting edge of breaking news!!!

  2. forgot to finish: with his pointedly wry and often precise political repartee…

  3. Charlie San Jose says:

Just sent an email to the Sun Times…chale con esto Lalo, aqui te apoyamos en Checagou!

  4. mike ward says:

Love that strip on the “Super Achiever.” Since only eight percent of all graduating Hispanic students are college ready (in Illinois), I can appreciate the irony. Rascist dullards like you shouldn’t be allowed a forum to spout your prejudicial bullshit.
